Rubber is a durable and long-lasting option, while neoprene provides insulation and warmth, making it perfect for colder weather. PVC is lightweight and more affordable, but it may not last as long as other materials.

Hunter rain boots are the best of both worlds, bridging both function and comfort for kids of all ages. I love them and think they are a great first rain boot for toddlers.
Crocs Handle It Rain Boot
Last but certainly not least, a lot of my students loved their Crocs handle rain boots! They are a little clunky for the younger kids but that never seemed to stop any of my kiddos from running or jumping in puddles. This is a great option that is more affordable.
Honorable Mention...Lone Cone
I’ll give an honorable mention to Lone Cone Rain boots for toddlers because these really can be a great option! In my experience they don’t hold up as well as the others, but I know so many families who love them.
