Supplies for Making Kite Paper Hearts
One reason I love making kite paper crafts so much is because you don’t need a lot of materials! The bundle of kite paper is great because it comes with so many different colors, your kids and students can make paper hearts in any color combination they want. Grab your supplies, and get ready to make Valentine’s Day magic!
Also keep in mind that if you don’t want to use kite paper, you could also swap it out for origami paper! It is slightly sturdier and just as easy to use. You won’t get the same effect when you hang it on the windows, but it’s still a special alternative to make paper hearts with kids.

Kite paper crafts are a great way to get kids involved in decorating for any season or holiday. In addition to creating beautiful decorations, they also exercise fine motor skills and patience as your kids learn each step! If there is a particularly tricky fold, I will create an assembly line with my kids and have them do the easier folds, then I’ll help with any challenging parts.
